MountainMove a mountain,Replace the wires.Dig a road,Cement those desires.Signals play your patience,Mud and muck just weigh you down.Reaction time is critical,Please don't flinch. You're strong within,But hampered without.Seek not a glass,But sprint to its height.Waves play a forever dance,Sugar makes all okay.Islands of equidistance,Jackets of only hold.Hear those birds start to chirp,I know the world you're in.Cut off and alone,Salvation's just fleeting.Find your within,Feel your fire.To hell with your chains,There's no sense wallowing.Do the hair, wear the shoes,Run to every edge you find.Just pay everyone no mind,All they'll do is see you fail.Be your own master,Screw the mountain.Technology is for the weak,Only the strong can reach the peak.
My RuinSpoke to me,Like a voice from within,Inscribed its words,All through my pencil.Eats away,At my conscience,Ignores a morality,I refuse to have.Tears me to pieces,Reckons my past,Slips me beneath,All that I am.Destroy why I care,Lectures all my demons,Corrupts all my angels,Ends whatever sympathy I might have.Breaks my will,Deifies my lust,Erodes my patience,Exposes my truth.Exists within,Walls without,The higher I soar,The harder I crash.Away I go,Suffice it to say,Who can escape,My ruin!
You and IHow can I love? When all you do is hate! How can I listen? When all you do is speak! How can I grow? When you chain yourself down! How can I sleep? When all you do is run!How can I experience? When all you do is hide! How can I see? When you never even look! How can I touch? When you never even feel! How can I see? When you never even look! How can I empathize? When your heart's as black as night! How can I dream? When you never even want! How can I be?When you're never even there! How can I trust? When all you do is lie!How can I need? When you never even ask!How can I live? When you never even care!
Poem 2Upon a lake doth there float,A lonely dock without a boat.Where every evening the sun never sets,Haunted by a ghost who never rests. The soul of a girl, young and pretty,Trapped forever more without her kitty.Glowing with innocent incandescence,Her spirit provides the night with beautiful luminescence. She sings lullabies on perfect key,Fearing to wade even to her knee.A doll trapped because of mystery,A soul that may never be free.Once she cried so many tears,The dark being one of her fears,Mother once the name of God on her lips,A saint who mended all of her rips.Alas a mystery never to be solved,A story around which a whole town revolved.A young girl of seven,Whom should have risen up to heaven.Detectives drew only blanks,Many by now having risen through the ranks.Yet the case remains a mystery,Just another chapter in this lake's history.
